Cecia was born in Honduras and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and a Minor's degree in Sociology from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She had 5 seasons of sports participation during her time there. Cecia grew up in a community of immigrants and has personally witnessed the difficult situations lived by individuals here without status, and she always wants to make a positive change in her clients' lives, because of her own lived experiences.
Fun fact: She was a member of the first national qualifying Ethics Bowl team at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
