At Luqman Law, we are thrilled to announce a recent victory for one of our clients in their Permanent Resident Cancellation of Removal application. Our client, a native of Sierra Leone and a loving mother of two U.S. citizen children has lived in the United States for over a decade and built a life here with her family.

Our client works hard to support her family and is an active local church member. Her young children thrive in their schools and community, and removal from the United States would have caused them exceptional and extremely unusual hardship.

In Immigration Court, we presented evidence of our client’s positive equities, family and community ties, and good moral character. The Immigration Judge was ultimately persuaded that her removal would result in extreme hardship to her U.S. citizen children and that she warranted a favorable exercise of discretion.

“I am overjoyed and deeply grateful that I will be able to remain with my children and continue providing for them here in the United States,” our client said after receiving the court’s decision. “I want to thank Devin Luqman and the team at Luqman Law for fighting tirelessly on my behalf.”

At Luqman Law, we understand the immense stakes when clients face potential separation from their loved ones through removal proceedings. We are committed to vigorously advocating for our clients and presenting the most robust case possible. This victory exemplifies the real-world impact of our work.
